My 2 Lousy Cents

#6

Panelist: Temm-lock

'sup, this 2LC and I Tem. You're back again? Looking for more mindless insanity? Looking for more pointless analyses of life? Well, you will deeply disappointed to find out that this month's 2LC is to be different than usual.

Seeing as TRC is kinda a sponsor of the super nifty contest that carries the name of ROC: Survivor 2, I have decided to dedicate this column (until the last contestant is brutally killed) to showing a comedians take on the whole thing.

Ok, so do I have your attention long enough to finish reading this article? No? Well, just read it anyway.

I am going to give you a brief, yet deep, description of a few of the contestants. These, I believe will make it pretty far in the contest.

Makala- Makala is very simple. She is a vermin who doesn't mind other beasts too much unless they cause her trouble. There is nothing notably insane in her character, which makes her drop on many people's lists. So is Makala worth the trouble that Concorde and Kirill went through to bandage her arm? Any answer can probably be filled in for this question and be accepted by most. What about the accent? Many believe her accent destroys her character, but I personally find it... believable. So, overall, I think Makala is a classic character. Nobody's going to be jumping to get her off the set, while she probably isn't too many people's favorite.

Kirill- Kirill is a very nifty character. He has nothing remotely bad in him, which seems to make him be admired by all. Being well-educated and very skilled, his char is a necessity to the story. If he was gone, there would be no-one to do a lot of things. So is this the only reason he's nifty? No way. Kirill has a unique accent, a well developed personality and a great writer. That's a lot to be going for one character, so he'll surely make the top 3. Unless some loser-ville cheater gets involved...

Throttle- Though Throttle is despised by many, there is an even greater number that think she is the best of all the contestants. You see, ROCS2 has a very picky audience (quite annoying if you ask me) and they are looking for nothing short of a soap opera. That's why Brushmoore got voted off so quickly. His character had less dimensions than the original Atari system. Is that bad? Possibly... but Brian Jacques' stories included many such characters that are devoted to one purpose alone. Throttle is a multi-dimensioned character who has a good background and a whole lot of potential. She can be used in a dramatic type setting or in a cheap shallow story with no plot.

Ok, that done, I want to talk about the story so far.

There have been many moments when the story has been quite entertaining. Mostly due to the fact that I am writing a monthly article about ROCS2, I have been closely following the story and have read every post the day it was made. The plot that Masha has been building on, involving revenge for some murder, definitely adds to the good side of the story. I only hope that she has coordinated the whole thing with the rest of the contestants, because it could turn out to be chaotic.

Another point which has received much attention is the so-called 'love affair' between Than and Masha. That could ruin the whole story if it's taken too far.

Well, I guess I have room to sneak in a lousy joke of the month. Ok, here goes.

Mittsu was eating cake in his tent when Concorde came in. He said 'where'd you get that cake?'. Mittsu said 'I stole it'. Concorde stood on his head and said 'From who?' and Mittsu said 'yaaaaaaaaaaaaa!'

lol lol lol! That was a great joke! (its opposite day)

Well, that's it for this month. See ya in 30, so don't forget!
